Associated Historical Societies

Welcome
California has a rich history that is kept alive by many
local Historical Societies along with State wide
organizations. The Associated Historical Societies
of Los Angeles County was founded in 1958 for the
purpose of encouraging local historical societies to
come together to share ideas for preserving our
California Heritage.
The
Associated Historical Societies of Los Angeles County is
a member of the Conference of California Historical
Societies and serves as a liaison between the Conference
and its membership in Los Angeles County. Each
Region of the Conference has a Regional Vice President
to offer assistance as needed. You can locate your
